Praying for an inclusive church

Praying for an inclusive church

A pencil drawing collage (from multiple procured photos) that includes many themes:

  • The prepared table of Christ in heaven when we will all be joined together
  • Communion
  • Reading the bible through the lens of grace and not the law
  • The gathering of the saints praying around the throne room for those still on earth- for reconciliation and unity
  • That all God's children (specifically the LGBTQ+ community) are called to be a part of the body of Christ and that there should be NO more divisions. The hate and exclusion that is being preached from most evangelical pulpits is sinful. The boundless, unending Love and Grace of Christ includes ALL and looks nothing like what the conservative church now stands for
  • The sword in the stone (mythological reference) combines with the double edged sword of the Word of God- that is bound in the rock (the cornerstone of the church) and only Christ can remove the sword and will eventually unite us all
